Windfarm in Shiriya
During my recent trip to Aomori I noticed a large windfarm on the mountain ridge in Shiriya. I drove a dust road up quite a long way until I found a clearing. But as so often on the top of the mountains in Japan it is difficult to get a view below as trees and shrub grow very high. I thought that it must be worthwhile to try something new. I set up my Canon 6D in Wi-Fi remote mode and mounted it on top of the car with the fully deloyed tripod. Then way I could actually get view over the cost towards Oma and even beyond to the Hakodate mountain across the Tsugaru strait. There must be about fifty of these large wind mills up there.
