For my 62nd birthday on March 22nd, 2020, we went for a hike in Okutama. Despite the appearance of a remote place somewhere in the mountains of Japan, this place acutely belongs to metropolitan Tokyo. The idea was to go for longer hike but halfway one of the soles of my hiking boots began coming off. In the emergency I could fix it using the neck strap of my camera and some masking tape. It was the last putting before the impact of Covid19 with all the restrictions came upon us. It is a very pleasant memory of the times as they were normal.
